Supporting New Mothers and Newborns at Home
The first few weeks after childbirth are one of the most joyful yet demanding periods in a family's life. New mothers are recovering physically while also learning to care for a newborn, often without enough rest. Our postnatal care nurses provide expert, hands-on support for both mother and baby — helping families navigate this beautiful, sometimes overwhelming phase with confidence.
Our nurses are trained specifically in postnatal and neonatal care, with experience in managing both normal and C-section deliveries, premature babies, and common newborn conditions like jaundice, feeding difficulties, and colic.

Frequently Asked Questions
When should I book a postnatal nurse after delivery?
It is best to book your postnatal nurse 1–2 weeks before your expected delivery date so she is ready to come home with you upon discharge. Many families book from Day 1 of returning home.
How long do postnatal nursing services typically last?
Most families engage a postnatal nurse for 15–45 days. The first month is the most critical for newborn adjustment and mother recovery. Some families continue for up to 3 months depending on their needs.
Can a postnatal nurse help with breastfeeding difficulties?
Yes. Our nurses are trained in lactation support, proper latching techniques, managing engorgement, and building milk supply. Breastfeeding challenges are extremely common and our nurses handle them with patience and expertise.
What care does the nurse provide to the mother vs the baby?
For the baby: bathing, cord care, feeding support, massage, monitoring. For the mother: wound care (C-section or episiotomy), breastfeeding guidance, nutrition advice, emotional support, and general postnatal recovery monitoring.
Do you offer overnight postnatal nursing?
Yes. We offer both daytime (8–12 hours) and overnight nursing arrangements so new parents can rest while their baby is in capable, professional hands.
