General

What services does Treatment Home Health Care provide?

We provide a comprehensive range of home healthcare services including nursing care at home, senior and elderly care, physiotherapy, medical equipment rental, mother and baby postnatal care, critical care and ICU setup at home, and 24/7 ambulance services across Kolkata.

How quickly can a caregiver or nurse be arranged?

For urgent cases, we can arrange a qualified nurse or caregiver within 2–4 hours of your request. For planned bookings, we recommend reaching out 24 hours in advance for the best match.

Do you serve areas outside central Kolkata?

Yes. We serve all areas of Kolkata and its suburbs including Thakurpukur, Behala, Joka, Tollygunge, New Alipore, Garia, Baruipur, and the surrounding areas of South and Central Kolkata.

How do I pay for home healthcare services?

We accept cash, UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm), bank transfers, and cheques. Payment terms vary by service type and duration. We will provide a clear breakdown before the service begins.

Nursing Care

Are your nurses certified and qualified?

Yes. All our nurses are either Registered Nurses (RNs) or Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) with verified educational credentials, up-to-date nursing licenses, and police verification. We also conduct background checks before onboarding.

Can you provide 24/7 nursing care at home?

Yes. We offer 8-hour, 12-hour, and 24-hour nursing coverage. For 24-hour coverage, two nurses work in alternating shifts to ensure consistent, rested care.

Is a doctor's prescription needed to hire a home nurse?

A prescription is not required for general nursing and caregiving support. However, for specific medical procedures such as IV therapy or catheter management, a doctor's order is required.

Senior & Elder Care

What is the difference between a caretaker and a nurse?

A caretaker provides non-medical personal support — bathing, grooming, feeding, companionship, and mobility assistance. A nurse provides clinical care such as wound dressing, medication administration, and medical monitoring. We offer both.

Do you have caregivers trained in dementia care?

Yes. We have caregivers specifically trained in Alzheimer's and dementia care techniques, including redirection, routine-based care, safe environment practices, and patience-centered communication.

What if we are not happy with the caregiver assigned?

We have a zero-hassle replacement policy. If you are dissatisfied for any reason, we will replace the caregiver within 24 hours at no additional cost.

Physiotherapy

What qualifications do your home physiotherapists have?

All our physiotherapists are BPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy) or MPT (Master of Physiotherapy) qualified with valid council registration and clinical experience across orthopaedic, neurological, and cardiopulmonary conditions.

How many sessions will I need?

This depends on your condition. Post-surgery patients typically need 12–16 sessions over 4–6 weeks. Neurological patients or those with chronic conditions may need ongoing therapy. Your physiotherapist will set a clear plan after the first assessment.

Is home physiotherapy as effective as going to a clinic?

For many patients, yes — especially for those who have difficulty travelling. Research shows that home physiotherapy leads to similar or better outcomes for post-op and neurological patients due to higher comfort and adherence.

Medical Equipment

What is the minimum rental period for medical equipment?

The minimum rental period is 7 days for most equipment. We offer weekly and monthly rental packages. Contact us for pricing based on your specific equipment needs.

Is the equipment sanitised between uses?

Yes. All equipment is professionally cleaned, sanitised, and clinically tested after every rental return and before every new delivery, following strict biomedical hygiene protocols.

Can you deliver an oxygen concentrator urgently?

Yes. For oxygen concentrators and other critical equipment, we offer emergency delivery within 2–3 hours in most areas of Kolkata.

Ambulance Service

Is your ambulance available 24 hours a day?

Yes. Our ambulance service operates 24/7, 365 days a year including Sundays and all public holidays. Call our emergency line at any time.

What is the difference between BLS and ALS ambulances?

BLS (Basic Life Support) ambulances handle stable transfers with basic emergency equipment. ALS (Advanced Life Support) ambulances carry defibrillators, cardiac monitors, ventilators, and trained paramedics for critical patients who need ongoing care during transport.

Do you handle inter-hospital patient transfers?

Yes. We handle both emergency callouts and scheduled transfers between hospitals, nursing homes, and from home to hospital. Pre-booking ensures the right ambulance type is assigned for your transfer.
